Jill Cabes has been named Vice President of Dominican Catholic Identity at St. Mary’s Dominican High School. A 1987 graduate of St. Mary’s Dominican High School, Cabes holds a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Notre Dame Seminary, and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University.
Since 2014 she has served in advisory capacity for Dominican’s STREAM™ – Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts and Math – initiative, and from 2010 to 2012 was on the school’s Master Planning Committee. She is a parishioner of St. Dominic Parish and she has spoken to groups on numerous topics related to Catholic life.
Announcing the appointment, Dominican President Dr. Cynthia A. Thomas, said, “We believe that Jill has the preparation and skills to assist our leadership team and school community in developing and implementing the next steps in the STREAM™ initiative.”
